Zapier, Make and the API

Keys let Zapier, Make or your own systems use Kinhour. Webhooks tell them the moment something happens.

Where to find it: Settings, Connections, Zapier and Make

Create a key

  1. 1Press Keys and webhooks, then Create key.
  2. 2Give it a Name, like Zapier.
  3. 3Choose What it is for: Zapier or Make, Your website (read the timetable only), or choose exactly what it may do.
  4. 4Copy the key. We show it once, then keep only a fingerprint we cannot read back.

Put keys in the other system's settings, never in a web page. You can have up to 10 keys. Replace makes a new key and keeps the old one working for reading for 24 hours. Revoke stops it straight away.

Webhooks

Press Add endpoint, paste the https address Zapier, Make or your own system gives you, and pick the events to send: bookings, cancellations, check-ins, no-shows, waitlist moves, class changes, new clients, paid sales, memberships starting and ending, and more. We sign each one and try again after 1 minute, 5 minutes, 30 minutes and 2 hours if it does not answer. Send test checks the address.

How to connect has step-by-step instructions for Zapier and Make, and for your own code. There is no app of ours to install: every step uses their own webhook and HTTP tools.

Owners and managers manage keys and webhooks.
