Connections: Zoom, Google Calendar and Mailchimp

Zoom for online classes, Google Calendar for your teachers, Mailchimp for your newsletters, and Zapier or Make for everything else. All included.

Where to find it: Settings, Connections

Switch on the ones you use. A card that says Coming soon is being switched on for every studio, and there is nothing to do yet.

Zoom

  • Press Connect Zoom and sign in.
  • Every online class gets its own meeting, two weeks ahead.
  • A new time, length or teacher updates the meeting, and a cancelled class deletes it.
  • Only clients who are booked see the link, from 15 minutes before the start, in their account and their emails. Teachers start the meeting from the class.

Google Calendar

Each teacher connects their own Google account: their classes go into their calendar, and their busy times come back. We read only when they are busy, never what is in their calendar. Busy times block appointments and show as a clash on the timetable. Nothing is moved without a person deciding. Your calendar

Mailchimp

  • Press Connect Mailchimp, then Choose an audience. Nothing is sent until you do.
  • Only clients who said yes to marketing emails are added.
  • Tags from memberships, passes and visits are kept up to date. Ours all start with Kinhour, so your own tags are never touched.
  • Someone who unsubscribes in Mailchimp is unsubscribed here too.
