Texting and WhatsApp

Your allowance

The usage card shows how many texts and WhatsApp messages your plan includes this month and how many are left. A text uses one for every 160 plain characters, or 70 with emoji or some accents. A WhatsApp message counts when it is delivered. When the month's allowance is used up, texts wait until you top up or the month turns. Emails carry on as normal.

The owner can press Top up to buy 100, 500 or 2,000 more. Top-ups are at cost, added straight away and never expire.

Sender

Texts come from Your studio's number, which we set up for you, or Your studio's name, up to 11 letters or digits. People cannot reply to a name. Some countries do not allow a name as the sender, and in some we register it for you first. The page tells you which applies.

Texts about bookings

Choose Off, Text or WhatsApp, then switch on the moments that matter: class reminder, waitlist offer, class cancelled or moved, and failed membership payment. Automatic texts wait for 08:00 to 21:00 in your time zone, except a class cancelled or moved within 3 hours of the start. Clients can choose email only in their account.

Templates and saved replies

• Templates: words you send again and again, with the client's first name and class details filled in. WhatsApp templates are checked by Meta before use.
• Saved replies: answers the desk uses again and again, one tap away in the inbox.

Connecting WhatsApp, Instagram and Messenger

We hold the accounts with WhatsApp and Meta and connect your studio to them. To connect any of these, write to us. It takes a few days for Meta to check a business. Messages then arrive in your inbox.

If the page says nothing leaves yet, texts are kept and show in the inbox as held until sending is switched on for your studio.
